Precision in perfection - that is the guiding principle of dar germany GmbH
Welcome to the world of dar germany. Be inspired and get to know and appreciate the special.
German added value with manufactory character
The development, design and manufacture of our weapons takes place in Fraureuth, Germany. In addition to manufacturing in our own state-of-the-art CNC machine park, a high degree of manual labor is still at the heart of our work.
Selected materials with highest quality perfectly refined
High-strength, cold-rolled aluminum, which was developed for aerospace technology, forms the optimal basis for our technically sophisticated housing parts and some other components. This aluminum ensures maximum rigidity under extreme thermal and mechanical loads.
Tenifer QPQ surface treatment
Tenifer QPQ salt bath nitriding is a complex chemical-physical hardening process for steel components. In a multi-stage process, these parts are immersed in various salt solutions at defined temperatures and exposure times to increase surface hardness. This simultaneously results in excellent wear resistance, stiffness is significantly improved and the components are given a velvety black surface finish.
Breech assembly
Each barrel of a dar hunting and sporting rifle has a locking sleeve that is tightly mated to the bolt head. Only the in-house production of these parts in coordination with Lothar Walther is a guarantee for a breech assembly with the highest precision and minimal breech gap.
Infinitely adjustable, direct gas system
The most important component of the gas system of our AR-15 and AR-10 rifles is the continuously adjustable gas extraction from the front.
The slim design of the gas system is striking. Due to the stepless adjustment, it is possible to adjust the weapon optimally and extremely precisely to the respective ammunition used. Likewise, the gas quantity can be sensitively adjusted to the use of a silencer or also to an increased degree of contamination.
Gas-repellent loading lever
For better operation of the dar germany loading lever, the grip surfaces have been significantly enlarged, based on the military standard. Even in winter, manual repetition with gloves is no longer a problem. The use of high-strength aluminum has also significantly improved rigidity compared to conventional models. The best feature, however, is the gas dissipation curve on the underside of the grip surface, which serves to dissipate gas laterally.
Closure hole Upper
We pay special attention to the closure bore in the upper part of the housing, the so-called upper, during production. The reason for this complex procedure is to improve the tribological properties of the component. The particularly smooth surface reduces the friction coefficient of the corresponding parts and significantly increases the precision and reliability of the rifle.
True continuous Picatinny rail
A feature of our hunting and sporting rifle concept is that the upper part of the housing occupies an interface corresponding to the fore-end. By mounting the fore-end, also called the handguard, directly to the upper part of the housing, any acting forces are carried by the housing rather than the barrel. The result is a free-swinging barrel and a true continuous Picatinny rail.
Integrated trigger guard in the lower
The dar Lower Advanced, the lower part of the housing is equipped with an integrated trigger guard. Compared to lowers with open trigger guard, this is designed to be extended downward and thus stabilizes the component. Due to the large area of the trigger guard, operation with gloves is no problem.
Interaction of the housing parts
The special value of our products is demonstrated by the flowing, play-free design of the upper and lower. This design enables precise interaction of both parts with a focus on minimal tolerances. All edges and fillets blend harmoniously into one another without any steps or interruptions.
Double-sided closure catch
The dar Lower Advanced has a second lever for unlocking the bolt assembly on the right side, above the magazine release. The user can use the index finger to pull the trigger, change the magazine, close the bolt and engage the safety without removing the hand from the grip. All AR-15 and AR10 hunting and sporting rifles manufactured by our company thus come with a true ambidextrous operation option out of the box.
Colored ceramic coating
If you want to give your gun a special individual touch, a Cerakote ceramic coating is just the right thing. We have many different colors and patterns to choose from to best suit your taste and application.
Cerakote is a ceramic-based wet paint that is applied in a very thin, but completely color-covering layer. After the actual coating of the parts, the color is baked in the oven under a defined temperature. The coating is characterized by flawless surface quality, high abrasion resistance and excellent resistance to environmental influences.
